You Find Grace in the eyes of God

“But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord”, Genesis 6:8

We live in a world now where our faith in God should not be tired or dismayed. We are in a period of time where we need our faith to be built strong in God’s Word in order to overcome the devices of the enemy. Look, the Word of God in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 KJV says, “For the Weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ,”

Even though we are in this world , we are not of this world. God is the creator of heaven and earth and all that is within it. But there is a prince of this world, Satan who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy but Jesus the Christ came to give us life in abundance, John 10:10. The devil desires to manipulate and control Governments and Systems. Per all that had gone on and has been going on, we may ask why God hasn’t intervened. We must remember that God has given us all a free will, he wont force anything on us or tend to interfere in the affairs of men even though he can. So as Children of God, we have the authority to cause changes to our world in the Name of Jesus, manifesting God’s Glory. We must and always pray for those in authority so that the voice of the enemy they will not hear, but their decisions and policies will fall in line with the will of God. In this time we need to pray than never before.

If you wonder your stand in this world now, know firstly that this world is not your home. You are made for a greater glory and your destination is where Christ is. The world will hate you for who you are but remember the world hated Jesus first. The Lord Jesus admonished us that we will face many persecutions because of who we are in Him but he says he has overcome the world and its system. We are far above the systems of this world, a chosen generation we are, a royal priesthood, a peculiar people called to display the virtue of Him who has called us out of darkness into his marvelous light.

The world may be falling apart but we continually pray because we are in the end times. In the miss of the wickedness and darkness we may find ourselves, we are lights and grace has located us just as Noah. Noah found grace with God, he pleased God.

Genesis 6:5-8, 5The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. 6The LORD regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. 7So the LORD said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created-and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground-for I regret that I have made them.” 8But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.

Noah, despite the wickedness of the world around him pleased God. God found him to be righteous. When Christ comes will he still find faith in you in this world? Put on the whole amour of God so you can stand against the devices of the enemy and stay righteous, strong in the Word and spread the Gospel. Noah got saved including his family when God instructed him to build an ark. As the people on the earth were destroyed by the flood because of their wickedness, Noah, his family and the animals in the ark were saved. As the waters got higher, the ark went higher on top of the waters. Mind you that Noah warned the people about the pending destruction but they never listened and never joined him in the ark.

Like Lot in Sodom and Gomorrah, he found grace with God. He pleased God, a righteous man in a wicked city. So are we graced and favored, and protected in times like this because we are the Righteousness God in Christ Jesus. God is with us and He is our Refuge. Do not subject yourself to the standard of this world. No evil shall come near your dwelling place and that of your family. We may face persecutions in many forms as Children of God, in our families, work place, school etc. But Jesus says “Cheer up, I have overcome the World”. No evil fashioned against us will prosper. Amen!

Trust in Him!
